Welcome back to the ERAU women's air race classic blog.
This year's pilot is Kristin Garcia (left). She is from Vermont and currently a flight instructor at ERAU. The co-pilot this year is Marlene Wessel (right). She is from Germany and a flight instructor at ERAU as well.
We are both very excited to fly the air race this year. The Race will start on June 16th in Concord, CA and end on June 19th in New Cumberland, PA.
Our airplane is washed, waxed and ready for us to fly out to California. We are so thankful for our amazing maintenance team for getting the plane ready for us. Thanks to our awesome air race committee for organizing everything we need to be able to fly this race. A special thank you to all our sponsors this year because we wouldn't be able to fly this race without all of your support.
